About the Cut PDF Pages in Half

Cut PDF Pages in Half turns each selected source page into two output pages. Vertical mode creates left and right halves, while horizontal mode creates top and bottom halves.

A Reverse order option swaps which half appears first. Unselected source pages are retained as single pages, making it possible to cut only scanned spreads or joined pages within a mixed document.

The halves are produced by embedding clipped regions of the source page, not by rendering screenshots. Content near the dividing line can be split, and the tool does not detect the best cut position automatically.

Key features

  • Vertical left/right cutting
  • Horizontal top/bottom cutting
  • Normal or reversed half order
  • All pages or selected page ranges
  • First-page split preview
  • Unselected pages retained unchanged
  • Vector-preserving clipped output
