About the Image Watermark PDF

Image Watermark PDF places a JPG or PNG logo, stamp, or mark on chosen pages. Nine anchor positions, relative size, opacity, and a page-range field control how the image is drawn.

The image is embedded once and drawn onto selected PDF pages without rasterizing the underlying document. A first-page preview shows approximate size and position for the current settings.

The watermark is a visible overlay, not tamper-proof protection. Very large source images still require browser memory to decode, and transparent PNGs are preferable when the logo should have no rectangular background.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a transparent logo?
Yes. A transparent PNG is the best choice when only the logo artwork should appear.
Does it watermark every page?
By default yes, but a typed page range can restrict the target pages.
Is the underlying PDF rasterized?
No. The watermark image is drawn over existing PDF pages.
Is the mark impossible to remove?
No. It is a visible overlay, not DRM or cryptographic protection.
Why can placement vary visually?
The same relative anchor and scale are applied to pages that may have different sizes or orientations.
